What’s this all about…

I'm social, outgoing, and love to try new things (within reason), but like the rest of America, I am on a tight budget. Add that to being newly single after 6 years and you have me. So I am out to find new things to do, places to eat, and moments to experience that leave me feeling complete while still having enough money to pay my rent!

How Not to Park!

San Francisco can be a unique city for many reasons, specifically for their functional city-wide transportation system.  Although it can be a drag at times, it's functional enough that I can get around without needing a car.  Because let's face it, parking in SF is an absolute nightmare!  It can take FOREVER!  Not to mention, there are so many rules around street cleaning, no parking, hourly restrictions, and meter usage...plus every street is different.

If you're like most people in SF then you've paid a pretty penny to the city in parking violations!  Don't make the same mistake and learn from others.  Here's the Top 5 Parking Citation Issues list outlining exactly how people are getting tickets, and how much money they really are giving away.

Get the facts and don't join this club!

An Inner Richmond Night Out

Living in the Inner Richmond; I feel like I'm always looking for a fun night out on the town without going too far.  Head to the Pig & Whistle, an old English pub for a few drinks before heading to the Bridge Theater for a quick flick.  And if you're anything like me, the movie will end and you're going to be hungry.  Try Red Wings, they have a great wing selection.  And if you're too tired to dine in, don't worry, they deliver!

My Sunday Morning Run...

Let's face it, going to the gym is great for the body, but it's not so great on the wallet...especially with the cost of living in the city.  Now running on the other hand can be an awesome workout, plus it's an easy way to see the city and best of all it's FREE!!!  This morning I went for a 10 mile run starting at the Warming Hut and headed down along the water to the Ferry Building and back...talk about an entertaining run with lots to see.  No matter how far you can or can't go, get outside and see the city.  You'll love it even more than you do already!
